Destination Imagination

Does your 3rd-5th grade child like to build, design, invent, create, perform, and work with a team to solve challenges? If so, he or she might be interested in participating in Destination Imagination (DI). Destination Imagination (DI) is an extracurricular, school- sponsored program that fosters creativity, team-based problem-solving skills and life skills for students. Leander ISD Destination Imagination is open to all students in third through fifth grade.

If your child is interested in participating in DI, please read the DI information found on the LISD Destination Imagination page and complete the DI registration form with your child. All registration forms are due by October 7th.

Our Reagan Mathletes will meet after school on Tuesdays (starting October 4th) until 4pm throughout the school year until their tournament which will be held in the Spring. The Mathletes will learn 5 challenging games, which each require a certain mathematical skill set.

Please note that signing up does not guarantee a spot on the team. The coaches will deliberate and reach out to everyone regarding who will join the team and who will be placed on the waitlist.

If you have any questions, please contact Coach Jo at or visit

Watch DOGS is a volunteer program that is set up for fathers and father figures to come spend at least one full day serving our school. It is open for all fathers, stepfathers, grandpas, uncles and any other important male role model in a student’s life (NOTE: we will also accept female role models too!). Tasks may include some heavy lifting and moving large items around the school. Pro Tip: Plan your "Watch Dog" day on our kid's birthday so that you can have lunch with them in the cafeteria. If you have any questions about this program, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Leslie at
